Discover the resort →Faloria Mountain Spa Resort stands between Mount Faloria and Cortina d'Ampezzo — an architectural vision by Flaviano Capriotti Architetti, born from the Dolomite landscape itself. Brushed larch, boiled wool, local stone and botanical motifs of alpine flora create an atmosphere that is simultaneously Nordic and intimate.
Host city of both the legendary 1956 Winter Olympics and the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games, Cortina's global prestige has never been greater. Faloria sits at its heart.
From a small 1956-Olympic-era pensione to today's five-star resort — the Pirro family's labour of love since 2008. Brothers Leopoldo and Sebastiano now lead a property where memory, design, and a contemporary idea of mountain hospitality intertwine.
Cortina hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics and in February 2026 returned as host of the XXV Milano Cortina Winter Games. The Tofane — the Olimpia delle Tofane slope, just minutes from the hotel by ski shuttle, hosted all five women's Alpine events: downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and team combined. The new Cortina Sliding Centre, rebuilt on the historic Eugenio Monti track, hosted bobsleigh, skeleton and luge. The Olympic Ice Stadium, a short walk away, hosted curling and wheelchair curling. The Games drew 1.3 million spectators and permanently elevated Cortina's global standing. Faloria's guests skied the same Olympic slopes before the world was watching.
The legendary Olimpia delle Tofane slope hosted every women's Alpine event at the 2026 Games — downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and the new team combined. The same runs are minutes from the hotel and skiable the very next morning.
Steps from the resortBuilt for 1956, fully restored for 2026. The Cortina Olympic Ice Stadium hosted curling and wheelchair curling — a short walk from Faloria's entrance and a living monument to 70 years of Olympic legacy.
Walking distanceRebuilt on the historic 1923 Eugenio Monti track, the new sliding centre hosted bobsleigh, skeleton and luge — three disciplines on 1,445 metres of ice and sixteen curves, with athletes reaching 140 km/h. Named for Cortina-born Olympic champion Eugenio Monti, the "Flying Red".
Eugenio Monti trackEight room and suite categories, each conceived in a palette of brushed larch, boiled wool and Dolomite stone. From the intimate Classic Room to the 85 m² Comfort Suite — every space frames the mountain as its centrepiece.
